How lorem ipsum generator works
Lorem Ipsum is placeholder text used in design and publishing to fill space before the real content is ready. It is derived from a Latin text by Cicero, written in 45 BC. The words have been scrambled so it looks like natural text without distracting the viewer with meaningful content.
This generator builds paragraphs from the standard Lorem Ipsum word pool. You choose how many paragraphs and how many words per paragraph. Each paragraph starts with a capital letter. The words are randomly selected from the Lorem Ipsum vocabulary, giving natural-looking but meaningless text.
Designers use Lorem Ipsum because it has a normal distribution of word lengths, so it shows how real text will look in a layout without the distraction of readable English. It has been the industry standard dummy text since the 1500s.
